The drug problems at elementary schools and the ways to solve it through prevention

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je zhodnotit drogovou problematiku a realizaci prevence v oblasti návykových látek na základních školách. Práce se dělí na dvě části. Část teoretická se zabývá návykovými látkami a jejich dělením, závislostí, kriminalitou a legislativou. Také se soustředí na možnou prevenci, a to nejen ve škole. Dále je součástí práce analýza učebnic občanské výchovy pro 2. stupeň základních škol od nakladatelství Fraus, která je zaměřena na obsah problematiky návykových látek. Praktická část reflektuje výsledky získané kvantitativním výzkumem, jenž byl realizován prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření na čtyřech základních školách v okrese Ostrava-město v Moravskoslezském kraji, přičemž jeho cílem bylo získat informace o tom, jaké mají žáci s drogami zkušenosti, jak jsou o návykových látkách informováni a jak vnímají besedy zaměřené na téma návykových látek. V závěru práce je vytvořen pracovní list, přičemž jednotlivá cvičení reagují na výsledky získané z dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the drug problem and the implementation of prevention in the field of addictive substances in primary schools. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with addictive substances and their division, the addiction, the crime, the legislation and it focuses on possible prevention, not only at schools. Furthermore, the thesis includes an analysis of textbooks of the Civic school subject for the 2nd stage of primary schools published by Fraus, which focuses on the content of addictive substances. The practical part reflects the results obtained by quantitative research, which was conducted through a questionnaire survey at four primary schools in the district of Ostrava-city in the Moravian-Silesian region, while its aim was to obtain an information on how students are informed about addictive substances, their experience with drugs and how they perceive discussions focused on the subject of addictive substances. At the end of the thesis, there is a worksheet created, while the individual exercises respond to the results obtained from the questionnaire survey.
