This work elaborates on use of nanoparticles in modern imaging techniques such as positron emission tomography and magnetic resonance, particularly in brain tumour diagnostics. Tato práce pojednává o využití nanočástic v moderních zobrazovacích technikách pozitronové emisní tomografii a magnetické rezonanci se zaměřením na diagnostiku mozkových nádorů. První část čtenáře provede typovým rozdělením mozkových nádorů, dále principy a charakteristikami jednotlivých zobrazovacích metod.
