Abstract:

Práce Didaktický překlad ve výuce angličtiny jako cizího jazyka se zabývá reflexemi didaktického překladu v moderní pedagogické literatuře a ve vlastním výzkumu mezi učiteli, vzdělavateli budoucích učitelů, studenty – budoucími učiteli a praktikujícími učiteli angličtiny jako cizího jazyka na středních a základních školách. Práce definuje koncept didaktického překladu a specifikuje výzkumné metody ve třech různých skupinách respondentů; t.j. skupina učitelů, vzdělavatelů budoucích učitelů, studentů učitelství anglického jazyka a praktikujících učitelů na základních a středních školách. Technika využitá pro výzkum ve skupině učitelů – vzdělavatelů, se nazývá strukturování konceptů a popisuje subjektivní učitelské teorie. Na názory zbývajících dvou skupiny je nahlíženo kvantitativními výzkumnými metodami. Všechny předkládané výsledky podporují názor, že didaktický překlad je velmi mladou disciplínou, která zatím postrádá oporu v sekundární literatuře. Vyučující využívají didaktického překladu improvizovaně a dle potřeby vytvářejí vlastní teorie bez zakotvení v současném vědeckém poznání.

Abstract:

The work Pedagogical Translation in ESL deals with the reflections of the pedagogic translation in the modern pedagogical literature and also in the research probes of the teacher educators, students – future teachers and ESL teachers at secondary and primary schools. The work defines the concept of pedagogical translation and also specifies the research methods in three different groups; i.e. teacher educator, ESL students – future teachers and ESL teachers. The technique deployed in the qualitative research of teacher educators is called concept structuring. The remaining two groups are studied by the techniques of quantitative research. The technique of concept structuring allows the researcher to describe and visualise the subjective teachers’ beliefs and the quantitative research results then provide the full concept of the pedagogical translation in modern Czech schools. All the results support the argument the pedagogical translation is a very young concept that is lacks real background in the secondary literature. The teachers use the translation in a very improvised manner and create their own theories that miss the real grounding in modern pedagogical theories.
