The diploma thesis is concerned with using video as an effective tool in teaching English-as-a-Foreign-Language (EFL) to deaf and hard-of-hearing (D/HH) learners. The theoretical part describes the benefits and issues of using video in ELT in general. Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím videa jako efektivního nástroje při výuce angličtiny jako cizího jazyka (EFL) pro neslyšící a nedoslýchavé (D/HH) žáky. Teoretická část popisuje přínos a problematiku používání videa v ELT.
