An Information Systems Protection Policy for the Implementation of GDPR in Public Administration

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na otázku ochrany informačních systémů z hlediska implementace GDPR ve veřejné správě. Prostřednictvím rešerše odborné literatury, analýzy současných rizik, vztahujících se ke zvolenému tématu, se práce bude zabývat aktuální právní situací včetně možných problémů, které toto téma přináší. Hlavní pozornost bude soustředěna na obecné nařízení o ochraně osobních údajů s odkazy na předchozí právní úpravy v zákonech a na nařízení o ochraně informačních systémů ve veřejné správě, jež budou porovnávány s novými právními úpravami. Cílem této diplomové práce je zjistit, nakolik rozsáhlé jsou rozdíly v právních úpravách již neplatných zákonů a v nových právních normách. A zároveň, jakým způsobem se tyto změny odrazily v již zavedených systémech zpracování osobních údajů, které musely být revidovány pracovníky ve státní sféře.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of information systems protection in terms of GDPR implementation in public administration. Through the research of professional literature, analysis of current risks to the selected topic, the thesis will deal with the current legal situation, including possible problems that this topic brings. Main attention will be paid to the general regulation on the protection of personal data with reference to the previous legislation in the laws and regulations on the protection of information systems in public administration and to compare it with the new legislation. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out to what the differences in legal regulations of already invalid laws are in comparison with the new legal regulations. At the same time, how these changes have been reflected in the already established systems of personal data processing, which had to be revised by workers in the state sector.
