Analysis of curriculum of preschool education in South Germany with an accent on physical activities

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with an analysis of pre-school education curriculum in the south of Germany. The theoretical part defines the problematics and clarifies the main terminology. The object of the thesis is the analysis of the pre-school curriculum in the Baden-Württemberg region. The practical part of the thesis contains a brief description of this region as well as the education system in this part of Germany which is defined by its structural and legislative framework of pre-school education. The analysis of the curriculum is divided into a formal and content aspect. The formal part examines the extent, structure and focus of the document and its areas of education with an emphasis on physical activities. The content part includes two general sections. The first contains chapters about principles and objectives of the education, pedagogical challenges and characteristics of a quality nursery school. The second one examines the basis of curriculum, children´s motivation and educational and developmental levels. The concluding part of the thesis is focused on comparing some of these aspects with those of the Czech curriculum.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá analýzou kurikula predškolského vzdelávania v južnom Nemecku. V teoretickej časti vymedzuje riešenú problematiku a objasňuje základné pojmy. Cieľom práce je rozbor rámcového vzdelávacieho programu v oblasti Baden-Württemberg. Výsledková časť stručne popisuje túto oblasť, ako aj školský vzdelávací systém vymedzený štrukturálnym a legislatívnym rámcom predškolského vzdelávania. Analýza dokumentu je rozčlenená na formálnu a obsahovú stránku. Formálna časť sa venuje rozsahu, štruktúre, zameraniu a vzdelávacím oblastiam s dôrazom na pohybovú oblasť. Obsahová stránka dokumentu je rozdelená na dve hlavné časti. V prvej časti sa zameriava na základy a ciele, pedagogické výzvy a znaky kvalitnej materskej školy. V druhej časti na podstatu orientačného vzdelávacieho plánu, motiváciu dieťaťa a na vzdelávacie a vývojové roviny. V záverečnom diely práce je pozornosť venovaná porovnaniu niektorých bodov s kurikulárnym dokumentom Českej republiky.
