The methods of target volume visualization

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je zobrazení cílového objemu. Práce je rozdělena do několika kapitol, zabývajících se možnostmi zobrazení cílového objemu, včetně jejich výhod či záporů. V první části se zabývám jednotlivými zobrazovacími metodami, na jakém principu pracují, využití v onkologii a jejich hybridních kombinací. V dalších kapitolách se věnuji metodám radioterapie využívaných při ozařování, od konformní radioterapie až po stereotaktickou terapii. V poslední kapitole se zabývám fúzi obrazu a jeho použitím v radioterapii. V praktické části práce se věnuji popisu a vysvětlení práce s obrazem při fúzi obrazu na kybernetickém noži s nejběžnějšími oblastmi ozařování.

Abstract:

The theme of my thesis is target volume visualization. The thesis is divided into several chapters dealing with the options of target volume visualization, including their advantages and disadvantages. The first part deals with individual display methods, with principle on which their work is based on, their use in oncology and their hybrid combinations. Following chapters are devoted to radiotherapy methods used in the irradiation, from conformal radiotherapy to stereotactic therapy. The last chapter deals with the fusion of image and its use in radiotherapy. The practical part is devoted to describing and explaining the work with the image, during the image fusion on cyber knife, with the most common areas of irradiation.
